thermes de Chassenon
The thermal baths of Chassenon, formerly called "therms of Longeas" in Chassenon in Charente limousine (the Charente department) on the edge of via Agrippa, are among the best preserved in the Gallo-Roman world. They are part of the ancient city of Cassinomagus, within a monumental complex, a vast sanctuary composed of the thermal baths, a theatre and a temple. These are double baths, with hygienic and curative function built on two levels and almost 1.5 ha.
