Musée national de la Marine

The National Marine Museum is a French maritime museum. It has been a public administrative institution since 1971, under the supervision of the Ministry of Armed Forces. It operates in five cities: Brest, Paris, Port-Louis, Rochefort and Toulon.

It also has a Conservation and Resource Centre in Dugny, where the library, the documentary holdings, the public funds of the museum, the photographic studio and the catering workshop are located. The collections deal with maritime and naval history. Its networking also enables local maritime cultures to be approached.
