The City of Architecture and Heritage is a public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC), under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Culture. The Cité's main mission is to promote French architecture and built heritage in France and abroad, and to showcase emblematic works of French architectural heritage and international contemporary creation. Located in the "Paris wing" (or north-east wing) of the Palais de Chaillot, located in Place du Trocadéro-et-du-11-november, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, close to Trocadéro and Iéna metro stations, it is the world's largest centre of architecture, with a surface area of 22,000 m2 and the Design Museum of London.
