The industrial ecomuseum of the Forges d'Inzinzac-Lochrist located in Inzinzac-Lochrist, Morbihan, Brittany, is a cultural structure whose aim is to preserve the working memory of the Forges d'Hennebont, which operated from 1860 to 1966. Under the impulse of Gisèle Le Rouzic, this ecomuseum was born in 1981 in response to the destruction of the Forges buildings. Placed in a former Forges building, it was coupled until 2002 to the Water House, now closed to the public. Installed in the former laboratory of the Forges d'Hennebont, the ecomuseum presents, based on numerous documents and objects, the foundation of the Forges, the trade union movements, the strikes, the Forges during the Second World War, the technical aspects of work in the Forges, etc.
