Collégiale Saint-Pierre du Dorat

The Saint-Pierre collegiate church or Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church is a former collegiate church located in the town of Dorat, in Haute-Vienne, 12 km north of Bellac and 76 km southeast of Poitiers. The imposing Romanesque church (77 metres long and 39 metres at the transept) is built in grey granite. His plan is in Latin cross.

Its construction began in the 12th century. It was fortified in the 15th century, hence its massive character. It was listed as a historic monument in 1846.
