Château de Camou

The castle of Camou is a strong house built in the 16th century at the embossing of a 14th century castle, itself built on a motte surrounded by moat dating from the 11th century. Partially deconstructed in 1860 the remaining part was renovated in the 80s and 90s. It is located in the municipality of Aïcirits-Camou-Suhast and has been listed as a historical monument since 1993.
