About

The bridge of Langeais is a suspension bridge located in France, in the department of Indre-et-Loire and the region Centre-Val de Loire. It crossed the Loire between Langeais and La Chapelle-aux-Naux, and constitutes a section of RD 57. Included in the perimeter of the Loire Valley, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site under the title "Val de Loire between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes", it crosses the Natura 2000 area known as "Vallée de la Loire d'Indre-et-Loire", and the two municipalities it links are members of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park.

Many cyclists driving the La Loire bike route take a trip to Langeais Castle on the right bank. In 2016, the Ministry of Culture awarded him the label "Remarkable Contemporary Architecture" (notice N° ACR0000360).
