grotte de la Roche-Cotard
The cave of La Roche-Cotard is a paleolithic site located in Langeais in the department of Indre-et-Loire. A block of flint discovered during a stratigraphic survey on the site in 1977 and named since the "Moustarian mask of the Roche-Cotard" is considered one of the first artistic manifestations attributable to the Man of Neanderthal.
