About

The church of Saint-Grégoire is a missing abbey that once served the abbey of Munster. Although it was founded in the middle of the 7th century, the first known church dates only from the 10th century. This Carolingian church was completely rebuilt in the 12th century to give way to a Romanesque building. This was the subject of a major renovation project in the 15th century, during which the former Romanesque choir was replaced by a large Gothic choir.
