collégiale Notre-Dame de Vitry-le-François
The Collège Notre-Dame de Vitry-le-François is a former collegiate church located on Place d'Armes in Vitry-le-François, in the department of La Marne.It was built in the 17th century, in the city founded in 1545 by François I, which gave it its name and its weapons, after the total destruction by Charles Quint of the former medieval stronghold of Vitry-en-Perthois, already partially dismantled in the 13th century. The college has been classified as historic monuments since 13 September 1920.
