mont des Oliviers
Mont-des-Oliviers is a monumental sculpture located in Molsheim, near the bedside of the Jesuit church. This Mount of Olives, which represents the agony of Jesus Christ at the Jardin des Oliviers, was originally made for the gardens of the Chartreuse of Molsheim from 1765 to 1768 by a certain Ziegler (or Zigler). Demonstrated in the early 19th century, it is brought to its current location. The protective dome that covers it was removed in 1923, which accelerated since the deterioration of the monument, which was included in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments on June 18, 1929.
