The Forgeron Gate, in Alsatian Schmiedtor, is one of the ancient fortified gates of the Molsheim ramparts. Built in the 14th century, it was the only gate in the city that survived after the 19th century. Since 1929, it has been included in the additional inventory of historical monuments
