château de châteaurenard
Châteaurenard Castle is a 12th century castle, today ruined, whose remains stand on the French commune of Châteaurenard in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, about 10 km south of Avignon. Much demolished and looted over the centuries, today there are only two towers still standing, one half destroyed, and part of the rampart. The remains of the castle are classified as historical monuments by order of 27 July 1921.
