Museum: The museum has three visiting rooms: the apothecary, the reserve and the preparatory room. The reserve presents an important collection of pots of pharmacy in faience; There are more than 1,000 pots, boxes and verrines, mostly still filled with their original curative content. In the officine one can see woodwork carved in 17th century oak. The Apothecary of Bourg-en-Bresse is thus one of the largest in France. It has one of the few rooms of preparations perfectly preserved and open to the visit. Apothecary is part of the Hôtel-Dieu de Bourg-en-Bresse, which is partially registered as a Historical Monument.
