About

The hotel of Burgundy, or hotel of Artois, was until the sixteenth century the residence of the Dukes of the second Capetian house of Burgundy in Paris. It then housed one of the main Parisian theatres from the 16th to the 18th century. The Jean-sans-Peur tower, rue Étienne-Marcel, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, is the only vestige today.
