porte Montmartre
The Porte Montmartre is the name of a series of missing doors from Paris (not to be confused with the Porte de Montmartre). There were successively three doors to Montmartre, as the various enclosures of the City were extended, running along Montmartre Street. They were destroyed one after the other to facilitate supply and circulation in Paris.
