caune de l'Arago
The "caune de l'Arago" (Calendar: cauna de l'Aragó or Cova de l'Aragó) is a prehistoric site in the territory of the commune of Tautavel, France, in a vast cavity overlooking a perennial stream, the Verdouble. It delivered human remains attributed to Tautavel man (Homo heidelbergensis) and lithic remains of the lower Paleolithic.
