cathédrale Saint-Nazaire-et-Saint-Celse de Béziers
Saint-Nazaire-et-Saint-Celse Cathedral is a Gothic-style church located in Béziers in the French department of Hérault and the Occitanie region. The cathedral is built in the western part of the ancient medieval city, on a wide promontory overlooking the Orb plain at the same level as the Henri-IV high school (1598); the whole being built on the foothills of the old ramparts of the Hérault city. The point of view allows you to see the plain of Languedoc and its surrounding villages as far as the mountains of the Black Mountain, the Caroux and the Pyrenees on the horizon. The cathedral is classified as historical monuments by the list of 1840.
