Château de Savenès

The Château de Savenès is a 13th century castle (?) that was later renovated in the commune of Savenès in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, in the Midi-Pyrénées region, and was the centre of a seigneury. As historical monuments; facades and roofs, moat, porch and bridge that precedes it (see: D 157) shall be entered by order of 1 February 1988 ; The two rooms on the first floor of the West Wing with their 17th century painted ceilings, the dining room with its 19th century panoramic wallpaper evoking the history of Télémaque (Box D 157) are classified by decree of 24 January 1992.
