Refuge de Vallonpierre

The refuge of Vallonpierre is located in Valgaudemar, at the north-west foot of the Sirac, at an altitude of 2,271 m, just on the edge of the small lake of Vallonpierre. The new refuge, built in 2000, is right next to the old one. The latter serves as a winter shelter. Access is on foot, within 2h30, from a parking lot located 500 metres before the Gioberney chalet.
