Episcopal palace
palais épiscopal de Bayeux
The episcopal palace of Bayeux or palace of the bishopric of Bayeux is a former episcopal palace that stands on the territory of the French commune of Bayeux, in the department of Calvados, in the Normandy region. It should not be confused with the Hotel du Dean, used as an episcopal palace during the Concordat. The palace, completely protected from historical monuments, was the residence of the bishops of Bayeux until 1793. It is currently occupied by Bayeux City Hall and the Baron-Gérard Museum of Art and History.
