Saint Vaast Church is a parish Catholic church located in Nointel (Oise), France. It is a rather spacious building, which brings together almost all the architectural styles from novel to classic, except the Renaissance. The plan is regular, and fits into a rectangle, with a clear division between nave, transept and choir.
There's a central ship and two collaterals all along. But looking at the details, it easily turns out that virtually no part of the church is homogeneous, with the exception of the choir, which is an interesting testimony of the late radiant style. Its vast bedside bay has an exceptional five lancet emplacement.
The base of the bell tower preserves an archaic Romanesque warhead vault, which has been heavily redesigned. The nave seduces by its large arcades worn at the same height as the side walls, and Gothic and Tuscan pillars face it without breaking the harmony of the whole. The vaults are only fake and can be described as neogothic.
