The Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup is a 195-hectare botanical establishment with an arboretum of more than 2,500 species and varieties of trees, botanical greenhouses and horticultural greenhouses. It is located on horseback in the communes of Rocquencourt (north) and Versailles (south), in the department of Yvelines. He is sometimes mentioned as a Chèvreloup National Arboretum because he is part of the National Museum of Natural History.

Description: The Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup is located on the south side of the Parc du Château de Versailles (the Queen's camel in the Parc du Petit Trianon). The domain is divided into 3 main sections:

the systematic zone: trees are grouped on 50 ha according to the botanical nomenclature; there are the oldest plantations; the biogeographical area: trees are grouped on 120 ha by geographical origin (America, Asia, Europe...); each species is represented by a group of six relatively young plants (planted after 1965); the horticultural area: located in the center of the Arboretum, around the lake of Chèvreloup, it groups on 25 hectares horticultural varieties from the selection...
