The chapel Notre-Dame-des-Anges de Perpignan is a former chapel located in Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of France.
Situation: The Notre-Dame-des-Anges chapel is located at no. 40 of the rue du Maréchal-Foch, on the edge of the Saint-Mathieu district, near the entrance of the former convent of the minor brothers.
History: Undoubtedly located at the site of an older building, the present chapel Notre-Dame-des-Anges is built between the late 13th and early 14th centuries, near the former Franciscan convent. According to legend, many religious buildings, including the chapel, are founded by Francis d'Assisi, at the initiative of the kings of Majorca. It belongs to the Department of the Eastern Pyrenees. The large capitular hall of the Franciscan convent was a time in the large Gothic room of the chapel. The monument was built as a chapel of the military hospital in the early 19th century, which was decorated with warrior allegories at that time.
