église Saint-Martin-Saint-Léonard de Vez
The church Saint-Martin-et-Saint-Léonard is a Catholic parish church located in Vez, Oise department, France. Its most remarkable part is its small rectangular choir in Gothic style, which dates from the years 1225 / 1230 and is of a sober elegance. The bell tower builds a little rough, of an older generation, the flank to the north, and slightly surpasses it.
Its ground floor houses the chapel of the Virgin. Four times as long as the choir is the un vaulted nave of the middle of the 12th century, whose partially apparent frame preserves drippings. Although largely dominated by the choir outside, it reaches, inside, the same ceiling height as the latter.
The nave is especially true for its rather original and preserved western facade without any alteration, and the large Gothic arcades flamboyant towards the north side, which ends on the base of the bell tower. The church was listed as historical monuments by order of 3 April 1926. It is now affiliated with the parish of Saint-Sébastien in Crépy-en-Valois, and Sunday Masses are celebrated there approximately every two months at 11:00 a.m.
