église Saint-Pierre de Vaumoise
Saint Peter's Church is a parish Catholic church located in Vaumoise, Oise, France. It was built with a single jet in the 1150s, but its central bell tower and nave were destroyed during the Hundred Years' War, and rebuilt in a rough style during the 16th century. Remain the transept, slightly redesigned under the same countryside, the central apse and the two apsidioles, which perfectly illustrate the transition from the Romanesque style to Gothic architecture, and form a picturesque ensemble with their stone roofs in the form of spherical caps.
The hemicycle plan of the apse and the apsidioles, the arching of the crucifixes, and the vaulting of the apsidioles in cradle and cul-de-four are part of the Romanesque tradition. However, the use of archaic construction techniques does not prevent the systematic use of the arch in third-points (except for windows), and the crossover of the transept and the apse are arched with warheads, which, it is true, has nothing new in the construction period. It is above all the sculpture of most capitals that is resolutely Gothic.
