About

The archaeological site of the Verrerie de Trinquetaille is a site acquired by the City of Arles in 1978. This site has been the subject of archaeological excavations in the 1980s and since 2013 by the archeological department of the Arles department museum and by the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP), with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the University [Laquelle?] and independent researchers. The head of the operation is Marie-Pierre Rothe (archaeologist - CD13 - MDAA), and the co-responsibles are Julien Boislève (toichographologist - Inrap) and Alain Genot (archaeologist - CD13- MDAA).
