From 1997 to 2016, the Musée de l'Erotisme was a private Parisian museum dedicated to erotic art (painting, sculpture, objects...). Inaugurated in November 1997 by Alain Plumey and Joseph Khalifa in the heart of Pigalle in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, at 72 Boulevard de Clichy, the museum closed to the public on November 7, 2016 and the entire collection was sold by auction.
