Notre-Dame-de-Beldou is a small chapel located at the exit of the village of Saint-Jory, in the Haute-Garonne in France.

History: The location is originally that of a pagan temple. At the beginning of Christianity, this temple became a place of worship to the Virgin Mary. The beautiful gift "Beldou" is Jesus Christ that Mary presents and gives to Christians. It was in 1410, in the manuscripts of Merville, register of infeodations, that we found the first writings concerning Notre-Dame de Beldou. Reference is made to a chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin under the name "Nostra Dona de Beldoa". During religious wars, the chapel was destroyed and rebuilt. In the 17th century, the chapel threatened to fall into ruin. It is so small that it cannot be enough to shelter the people who gather there. In 1675 Jacques du Faur decided to destroy it and to have it rebuilt in the same place, at his expense, in greater proportions. In 1676, almost completed, the parish priest asked Joseph de Montpezat de Carbon, Archbishop of Toulouse, to bless her, in order to celebrate Mass there.
