The castle of Briançon is an ancient castle, from the 12th century, center of the seigneury of Briançon, raised to the rank of Viscount in the 16th century, then of Marquisat in 1680, whose remains stand, at Notre-Dame-de-Briançon, in the commune of La Léchère, in the department of Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
