Château de Chavagneux

The château de Chavagneux is a former 13th century castle, center of the seigneury of Chavagneux, which stands on the territory of the commune of Genouilleux, in the department of Ain in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. A toll on the Saône depended on it. This toll, from the 13th century, was collected in Belleville. The castle is partially inscribed with historical monuments.
