The Collège Notre-Dame et Saint-Laurent d'Eu is a former collegiate in Eu (Seine-Maritime). It was originally the place of worship of an abbey that was destroyed during the Revolution. This church, built between 1186 and 1240, was that of the Canons of Saint-Victor. The college is classified as historical monuments by the list of 1840. It hosted the burial of Saint Laurent O'Toole and then those of the Counts of Eu.
History: Founded in 925 by Guillaume I, Count of Eu, first collegiate Sainte-Marie, served by secular clergy, in 1119, Henri 1st, Count of Eu, consents to the change of secular canons by regular Saint-Victor, of the order of Saint-Augustin. So she becomes an abbey. In 1161, the confraternity was established between the abbey of Eu and the abbey of Tréport. If any religious of either community disagrees with his abbot, he will be able to withdraw to the other abbey, until the whole is soothed.
