About

The collegiate Notre-Dame des Andelys is a former collegiate commune in the French commune of Andelys in the department of Eure and the diocese of Évreux, Normandy. Built in 1225 on the ruins of a women's convent founded in 511 by Saint Clotilde, wife of Clovis I, it is the oldest monastery foundation attested in Upper Normandy. The church is classified as historical monuments by the list of 1840.
