Croix du Nivolet

The Nivolet cross is a sommital cross on the Nivolet mountain (massif des Bauges, Préalpes, France). Overlooking the town of Chambéry en Savoie, it is located on the territory of the commune des Déserts, on the border with Saint-Jean-d'Arvey, at an altitude of 1,547 meters – the highest point of the mountain is, however, located further north, at 1,558 meters altitude.
