The protohistoric site of Cuciurpula is located between 955 m and 1085 m above sea level on the southern slope of Punta di a Cuciurpula (1164 m), a watchpoint on the upper Rizzane valley and the vernacular roads of the Cuscionu estive. Located in the heart of the mountains of southern Corsica, this site of the Alta Rocca on the southern Corsican microregion, is located on horseback in the municipalities of Serra-di-Scopbromme and Sorbollano.
