The chapel of Charcuble, named after the hamlet of the same name, is located in the territory of the municipality of Bissy-la-Mâconnaise, at an altitude of more than 450 metres, at the foot of Mont Saint-Romain, from where it looks towards the vineyards of Haut-Mâconnais and the valley of the Saône. A prominent geographical location that contributed to the choice of this hamlet for the construction of this building.
