Festyland

Festyland is an amusement park located in Bretteville-sur-Odon (near Caen), Calvados department and Normandy region. Inaugurated in 1989 with some 30 attractions, it became the largest amusement park in Normandy and the fifth tourist destination in the region since 2008. It has been increasing since its opening and welcomes between 180,000 and 220,000 visitors a year, ranking in 2019 in the top 15 French leisure parks. The park is known to enhance Norman culture, offering attractions and scenery on themes related to its history: the Middle Ages and William the Conqueror, the Vikings, Norman corsairs and the 1900s.
