fondation Arp
The Arp foundation is a creation of Marguerite Hagenbach, second wife of Jean Arp, recognized as a public utility in 1979. It runs the studio house dating from 1927, housing the works of artists Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber in Clamart, at the edge of the Meudon forest. The museum is also an information centre on both artists, open to researchers, art historians and all art market professionals. The Arp Foundation obtained the label "Musée de France" by decree of 9 March 2004 taken under the museum law of 4 January 2002.
