The Grand Théâtre de Provence, also known as GTP, is a theatre located in Aix-en-Provence in the new Sextius Mirabeau district. A symbol of Aix was used for the design of the volumes of this hall: the Sainte-Victoire mountain, recalled in particular by the stones of light colour on the outside, which recall the limestone composition of the Provencal massif. The building is surmounted by a terrace with circular views of the surroundings. The Grand Théâtre de Provence is next to the Black Pavilion and the Darius Milhaud Conservatory.
