La Mouthe cave

The cave of La Mouthe is a cave adorned with the Upper Paleolithic located in the town of Eyzies-de-Tayac. It houses more than 200 engravings and paintings of bison, horses, reindeer, mammoths... and signs, including a great tectiforme. The site is part of all fifteen UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1979 under the title "prehistoric sites and caves adorned with the Vézère Valley".
