Lautaret Garden

The Lautaret Garden is an alpine botanical garden (2,100 meters) of the alpine massif, located at the Col du Lautaret, on the territory of the commune of Villar-d'Arene, in the French department of Hautes-Alpes. It is one of the oldest alpine botanical gardens in Europe. It is also a scientific research centre and an organization for the dissemination of scientific knowledge to the general public.
