The Alès witness mine is a mining site located in Alès, Gard department and Occitanie region. Open to the public since 1985, it now presents a retrospective of the coal mining activity of Alès. The site scenography was completely redesigned in 2010.

Between 2014 and 2020 and following a rainy episode of high amplitude, the visit to this site was closed. Since July 2020 the site has reopened.
