The Delmas-Orfila-Rouvière Museum of Anatomy, known mainly as the Orfila Museum, was the largest museum of normal anatomy in France. Located at 45 rue des Saints-Pères in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, threatened by the plan to renovate the university building in the year 2000, its collections finally had to leave Paris and be transferred in 2011 by the University Paris-Descartes to the University of Montpellier to join the collection exhibited in the historical premises of the Faculty of Medicine.
