The Lisieux Museum of Art and History is a museum located in Lisieux. Located in one of the last wooden houses of the 17th century, the museum of art and history, labeled Musée de France, presents the history of the city and its representations, from the origins (gallo-Roman wall paintings, exceptional glasses, etc.) to the present day, not to mention the key periods of its development (the bishops, the textile industry in the 19th century, the Reconstruction). Paintings by Gustave Courbet, Francis Picabia and Eugène Boudin are visible.
