The Musée des transports urbaines de Saint-Étienne and its region is a museum that presents, through its collections, a life-size retrospective of the history of urban transport in the Stéphanois agglomeration. Indeed, Saint-Étienne was the only city in France to have retained a tram line in its city centre since 1881, and one of the only three cities to still have a trolleybus network.
