Musée Savoisien

The Savoy Museum is a departmental museum located in the commune of Chambéry, in the department of Savoy in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is housed in a former Franciscan convent (classified as a historical monument in 1911), opened for the first time to the public as a museum on 18 November 1913. Closed in December 2014 to carry out a complete renovation of the building and museum design, the reopening of the museum took place on 29 April 2023.
