Protestant church building
petit temple de Nîmes
The small temple of Nîmes is a religious building located 19, rue du Grand-Covent in Nîmes, Occitanie. The parish is attached to the United Protestant Church of France. It is located in the former church of the Ursulines convent, built from 1714 to 1718.
Inside there is a remarkable organ buffet, very worked, from the middle of the eighteenth century. It was called Little Temple once to distinguish it from the Great Temple of the Calad (5000 squares, destroyed in 1686). The Little Temple was incorporated in 2026 into the new structure led by the Protestant Church of Nîmes called: Protestant Square.
