Refuge de Vallonbrun

About

The Vallonbrun refuge is located at 2,272 m above sea level in the Vanoise Mountains. Perched on the balcony overlooking the Haute-Maurienne valley (Savoie), this refuge is located at the gates of Vanoise National Park, on the route of GR 5. From the refuge, it is possible to make the ascent of the Grand roc Noir (3,583 m) in 4 hours or the edges of the Châtelard (3,479 m) by the Col de Vallonbrun also in 4 hours.
