Refuge de Véran

The Véran refuge is located at an altitude of 1,602 m. It has blankets and mattresses; It does not offer catering but is equipped with a gas stove and wood heating. The refuge belongs to the French Alpine Club of Sallanches. The refuge gives access to climbing sites on the Iron Cross pillar that range from 6a for the pillar itself to more than 7 for other routes to the right.
