Statue de Masséna

The statue of Marshal André Masséna in Nice was inaugurated in 1869. It is the work of sculptor Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, and was in the former Square General-Leclerc, on the most ancient covered part of the Paillon (1866-1868). Today this bronze piece is embedded in the Promenade du Paillon.
